About us

About Drs. David & Debbie McFadden

We have spent our entire adult lives helping people sort out, cope with and learn to deal with the things life brings that cause pain, resentment, hurt and distrust.

Married more than 40 years, and still working at it

Though we have a really great marriage, we have had to work at it. We’d call ourselves a work in progress. We love being together and sharing our time, our happiness and our sadness, and being best friends is what makes that possible.

Developing a true friendship in our marriage has helped our relationship grow and deepened our love and commitment to each other. It’s the same thing we help couples build.

We have four grown, married children and a whole host of grandchildren. Over the years we have lived through, and learned to navigate, just about every triumph and tragedy a family can face.

Our philosophy

We are true coaches in our approach

We come alongside you and work together with you. We take the time to understand what you’re going through and the impact it has on your life, and help you uncover not only what you want but what you genuinely need.

Each step we take together becomes a bridge toward your goals, and you are never alone on the way. We specialize in working with couples, and with individuals who are looking for help on their own.

To us, this means:

  • Coming alongside you and working together with you
  • Understanding what you’re experiencing and how it affects you
  • Helping you discover and clarify what you really want and need
  • Building a caring relationship with you and helping you manage stress as you work toward your goals
  • Helping you find options and build new bridges toward your goals
  • Identifying the obstacles that may stand in your way
  • Holding you accountable for the steps you choose, and staying with you while you take them
  • Regular debriefs on every attempt at change, so you can fine-tune for greater success
  • Helping you celebrate your successes and the change you’ve been looking for
